About ME

 

I am a chemical engineer, barkeep, innkeeper, creative, novel/blog writer, entrepreneur, wife, sister, daughter, housekeeper, cook, and many more.  Like all of you, I wear a lot of hats and lots of layers.  Though I prefer to be layered in rose petals rather than the proverbial onion.  

After 20 years of working as a chemical engineer, primarily in the pharmaceutical field, designing and building manufacturing plants, I was done proving myself too unworthy self-absorbed self-entitled men.   I opened an Airbnb business in my home.  Three short months later, I opened a corner tap, beer, and whiskey dive bar.   

Several years and lots of life curveballs later, I am still striving to live my best life.  I craft. I knit. I meditate in my garden. I post random rantings about life on my blog.
